Judy P. Quesnell Baumgart joined our Heavenly Father on Friday, September 15, 2017 after an extended illness.

Judy was born in Thief River Falls, Minnesota to Lloyd and Fern (Collins) Quesnell on April 7, 1944. Judy graduated from Lincoln High School in Thief River Falls. After graduating high school Judy moved to Wadena, Minnesota and worked for the telephone company. It was in Wadena that Judy met her husband of 53 years, Robert Baumgart. Judy and Bob were married during a blizzard on January 25, 1964 in Wadena. They spent the first half of their marriage raising their family in Minnesota before relocating to Cedar Park, Texas. Judy was mother to three children, Kari, Steve and Shari. When her children were young she stayed at home to raise them. When all of the children started school Judy returned to the work-force and worked in the school district as a para-professional working with children with special needs. Judy had a love for people and their home was often a gathering spot for neighborhood get-togethers and a hang-out for their children's friends. Judy was fiercely devoted to her family. She enjoyed traveling, shopping and spending time with friends and family. Judy had a strong Christian faith and was an active member of her church community.

Judy is survived by her husband of 53 years, Bob; children: Kari, of Round Rock, Texas, Steven, of Austin, Texas and Shari (Jeff) Kropp, of Owatonna, Minnesota; grandchildren Nathan, Nicholas, Jade and Makenzie; brother, Jack (Alice) Quesnell; her in-laws: Dan and Jill Baumgart, Jane Hagen, Kay and Ted Anderson, Judy and Don Vogelsang; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and good friends.

Judy is preceded in death by her parents Lloyd and Fern (Collins) Quesnell and her Father and Mother-in-law, Merel and Esther Baumgart.

A celebration of Judy's life will be held at Cook-Waldon Chapel of the Hills located at 9700 Anderson Mill Road, Austin, Texas on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. with a lunch to follow at the family's home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the family are preferred.
