Paul Anthony Valerio was welcomed into the kingdom of Heaven on June 16th, 2017.

Paul was born in Louisiana and lived in several places around the country before ending up in Woodland Park, Colorado as a young child and living there with his family until he graduated from high school. He attended The University of Colorado in Boulder to study finance and also attended Multnomah School of the Bible in Portland, Oregon. He married his wife, Claudia, in 1981, and together they raised their three children in Texas. He owned several businesses and in later years was employed at WordSearch Bible - Lifeway Christian. From the time he surrendered his life to Jesus Christ in 1979, his greatest longing was to tell others about the Lord and to to see Him face-to-face. He was a faithful and loving father and husband, an artist and guitar player, a lover of nature and beauty, and a devout student of the Bible and related subjects. In 2012, he had a stroke and a heart attack and was dealing with heart issues from that point on.

Paul is preceded in death by his younger brother, John Valerio. His surviving family members are Arnold & Ruth Valerio - parents, Claudia Valerio - spouse, Serina Valerio - daughter, Luke Valerio - son, and Ariana & Justin Renner - daughter and son-in-law.

Paul will be cremated and his ashes will be spread at a private residence with family members attending. The family is very grateful for the great outpouring of love and support from family and friends. Psalm 34:5, "..They looked to Him and were radiant."
