Betty Pine, age 96 of Austin, Texas, formerly of Detroit, Michigan passed away on Friday, September 15, 2017 at her home in Austin. She was born on April 15, 1921 in Detroit, Michigan.

Betty is survived by her four children; Juliane Curby (Glenn), Robert M. Pine Jr. (Sherry), Denise Davies (James) and Gregory J. Pine (Rose Ann). She is also survived by her nine loving grandchildren; Ryan, Zachary, Tyler, Forrest, Jenna, Dylan, Alexandra, Gregory and Isabella. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert M. Pine.

Upon Robert's return from WWII, they married and she devoted her life to raising their family thereafter. She opened her home to not only her children but also all of their friends. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother who gave of herself endlessly. It was never truly a party without her presence. Betty was a social person, always willing to share a Bud Light with friends and family. She was the type of person who could light up a room with her charm and charisma.
